Chrissy possesses over 18 years of industry experience in the pilates & fitness industry. She has been a studio owner & instructor, teaching the pilates method for the past 17 years. It has fueled her unhindered passion of human physiology and psychology. She believes a fit mind and body is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
She created the Virtual piece of her Classroom back in 2016 as a online platform for her clientele that she coached & trained over the many years in her studio. Her mission for offering her fitness classes virtually was to provide a means for her clients to keep present with their pilates mat work at home. The Virtual Classroom has now expanded to a full time schedule, including her meditation classes & wellness events!

Joseph Pilates created this method of fitness to condition both the mind & body, formally known as "Contrology". The Pilates Method encourages the use of the mind to control the muscles in the body. Joe was born near Düsseldorf, Germany in 1880, at 14 he was modeling for anatomy books. His father is believed to have been a gymnast, and his mother a naturopath. His exercises included abdominal work, leg and arm work, balancing exercises, and spinal movements in all planes: flexion, extension, side bending, and rotation, as they were based on the German gymnastics Joe learned as a child. It is said that he taught his method to others during WWII at an internment camp and thus they survived the 1918 flu pandemic due to their good physical shape.
